What is IPPC-ISPM 15?
IPPC-ISPM 15 provides an International Phytosanitary treaty, which sets out harmonized requirements for the use of treatments to wood packaging material which are considered sufficient to free wooden articles of quarantine pests.
The measure requires that wooden material be debarked and then fumigated or heat treated and endorsed with the IPPC-ISPM15 mark of compliance by the IPPC-ISPM15 accredited treatment provider.
Over 100 countries are members of the IPPC and require compliance with the IPPC’s ISPM 15 standard before timber packaging can be imported.
ALL ACPCRATES EXPORT CRATES ARE BUILT WITH ISPM15 CERTIFIED TIMBER MATERIAL, STAMPED, AND ARE ALL QUALITY CHECKED FOR GENERAL CLEANLINESS.
